The thing I like most about this book is it was pretty funny because Minnie and Moo think things positively even when it's bad; such as when people are on the most wanted list from the police, they thought it was nice to know that you're still wanted. ~ Ethan, age 8

This book is really funny. It has lots of different monsters and it tells you what to do to scare them away or kill them. On the vampire's page, it says hanging garlic up in your room will scare away the vampires and your friends, too! And that's good if one of your friends is a vampire. ~ Samuel, age 6

It was full of action, surprises, and it was good. Probably the best book I've read so far.

I liked this book. Nate solved the mystery that his mother wrote a note on the back of the Monster Cookie recipe. The note said that the recipe was missing - Nate's mother didn't know that! ~ Darryl, grade 2

The Daytona 500 by A.R. Schaefer
I like it because I very (much) like Nascar and I like the Daytona 500. Dale Earnhardt was in third place coming around spinning. The car went to the bottom of the bank and hit a flat spot. The flat spot sent his car flying to the top of the track and into the wall. Earnhardt died instantly in the collision. ~ Jacob, age 7
The Wish by Gail Carson Levine
I liked how Wilma learns that friendship is better than popularity. I also liked the secret life story that Wilma wrote about her dog. It was very funny. I think that the old lady parts were very good. My favorite part is at the Grad Night. I really recommend this book! ~ Joyce, age 10

I liked it because it really felt like a real adventure. It was funny to see Jack fall in the water. High tides! Scary!
